Why TSA Lock?

After check-in at the airport, the baggage passes through the scanning device. In the event that this inspection is not enough, the safety staff will open the suitcase and personally inspect it. If the suitcase is equipped with an ordinary lock, they will open it by force, even at the cost of destroying it. If you have a TSA lock on the trunk, they open it with a universal key and after the tour, the trunk will be re-closed.

The TSA system is used in the following countries: USA, Canada, Japan, Israel, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, South Korea, New Zealand. Other countries are gradually increasing.

You can recognize TSA locks by the TSA inscription at the key hole for the universal key.

TSA is an abbe for Transportation The Security Administration (TSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
